Need iMessenge Help Please

Sorry if this in the wrong sub forum, but could not locate the exact one. I have a 5S, son and wife both have a 4s. we all use the same iTunes account, and the problem is when we use iMessenger, Sometimes my wife gets my son's texts to me and visa versa. I'm getting them OK, but so is she. I know this is a settings problem, but Ive tried everything and nothing seems to work. I can turn messenger off and my wife gets my texts fine, but then my sons texts dont go through untill I turn messenger back on, What am I doing wrong? I know all three of us on the same itunes account has something to do with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By the way, group messaging is turned off.

You should each have your own iCloud account, but share the same iTunes account for purchases and apps.

Refer to this Apple support doc http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4895 specifically the section titled Using one Apple ID for iCloud and a different Apple ID for Store Purchases.
