I am going to recomend a M$ product... the only M$ product I will ever recomend that anyone get, by the way. The Intellimouse Explorer.

I have a Logitech wireless combo for my PC (before that a regular Logitech optical) and my mom bought an Intellimouse Explorer for her computer and I never liked it, not because it was made by Miscrosoft, but it didn't feel as tough as the Logitechs, the countour of it didn't fit my hand at all, the scroll wheel gave very little feedback and I never could get the damn pointer speed ajusted right.

I'm sticking with Logitech.

My vote goes for the MS IntelliMouse Explorer. That is if you find one of the first editions... They were larger and better fit my hand. The new ones are smaller, but if you have small hands, go for it.

The logitech feels smooth (nice curves), but doesn't really have a form that will be comfortable to use.

I had a version 1, and then I got a version 3 for my other computer. At first I absolutely agreed with you, but after using the version 3 for a week or two i began to like it better.

MS Mice

I really like the Intellimouse Explorer 3.0. Really fits your hand well; like someone said, it doesn't seem all that great at first, but it really grows on you.

BTW, in that range of MS Mice, although the new bluetooth mouse is really awesome, it doesn't work in OS X yet (or any other OS besides XP SP1, due to Microsoft's straight pushage of it's newest flagship OS, plus it's own bluetooth adapters...other adapters and Windows combinations don't work at all..).

As soon as the bluetooth mouse comes out, I think it would behoove you to check it out--it seems like it's almost molded for your hand, specifically. Great recessed thumb part, and the mouse just looks uber-badass. Great tracking, too.

Check it out, man!

I suggest the logitech MX500 or the MX700 - they are the sam mouse, just the MX700 is a rechargable cordless version.

Both mice are fantastic, the only real competition is the MS Intellimouse optical v3.
