Hi Everyone

I have the last intel IMAC, i7 27 inch and have used an apple monitor for a decade plus

its finally died

i used this for my home recording studio and the software is all set up for 2 monitors. i dont want to spend what these new apple monitors cost but need a thunderbolt 3 with 2 ports, pref 27 inch, could go to 32 if needed

can anyone recommend a replacement monitor for me? I also do use the hub in the old mac monitor, for USB stuff but could figure out something if the new one didn't have these ports

thanks much for any help

Do you prefer the glossy screen of the apple tb display? or matte?

If so glossy is pretty much dead now except for like 2 monitors i feel lol. The LG / Apple collab monitors are pretty awesome -- I love mine -- as i still love a glossy monitor.

Hey there!

thanks for replying

personally I don't need anything great, for the music stuff as long as its clear its good. I do do some picture editing and family movie making but I don't need anything crazy

thanks!

I've been watching prices of the LG UF 5K on eBay. Seems like a decent one can be had at good prices - depending on quality, history, etc. Sounds like you keep things a while and it might be worth the money.
