Need software to design a flyer

Can anyone recommend a good (and free) design software that will help me create a flyer for a music show?
I'll add that I don't have any design experience (so I need something pretty simple)

Do you have Pages? There are a few templates in there that might help. (There are a few flyer templates, and a few templates in the Marketing collection that might work.)
