Need Some Direction On getting my Late 2014 Mac Mini working with LG 31MU97 4K

hello Im having some issues

i have a Late 2014 Mac Mini

here the specs

2.8GHz
8GB Memory
Intel Iris 1536

Im trying to context it to my LG 31MU97 Display

which Im only getting 3840*2160 at 30 hz rate resloution

I should be getting the max which is 4096*2160 50z rate

I been reading on line which people was having the same issues before Apple update to 10.10.2.. In which that fixed the issues but Im not that lucky

I connected to the Display Port via thunderbolt in Mac Mini

Sorry I can't be of more help but according the tech spec's on Apple's website you should be getting 3840x2160 resolution at 30Hz - which you are.

Perhaps consider two displays at 2560 by 1600 pixels, both at millions of colors, which is supported.
