Hey guys!

First of all, I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas (even if it's a little bit too late) and a happy new year.

My question is the following:

I've been using a ******@me.com personal email address since it came out in 2008 and it's my Apple ID since day 1 that I'm buying stuff on the iTunes Store/App Store/Mac App Store/Apple Online Store. Also, I've been using it for my contacts syncing, Notes, Find my iPhone, Reminders... well, for everything Apple has to offer with iCloud and their stores.

Now, I would like to change it to a *******@icloud.com to be able to use it as a personal AND professional (since my actual *****@me.com is not professional at all) account WITHOUT losing anything (data and purchases).

Is there any way I can do it?

Thanks and I hope that you are having some nice holidays!

So, I'll be able to move my stuff to a new ******@icloud.com and delete my *****@me.com?

No, you can't. You can't change your Apple ID to an Apple address. You can however update it on that linked site so that all of your Apple emails go there, but unless you change it to an @gmail or the like, it'll always be that @me account.

As above. Without making a whole account change, your primary ID will remain the same. You can contact iTunes support if you wish to change it, but I think the 90 day rule would then apply.

So, there is a chance that they will allow me to change it? It's for professional purpose.

I tried to do an alias but I wasn't able to add it to Mail on OS X and iOS so I deleted the alias but I'm looking for a solution.
