Jailbreaks/IOS Hacks
Ok so people are saying cydia iOS 6.x.x blobs aren't good? Also if I saved my shsh blobs on a windows of, how can I be the safest saving them so I can use them to downgrade on my Mac? also, how can i downgrade an iPod tough 4g to iOS 6.0.1? I have blobs for that, and 6.1/ 6.1.2
Thanks!

Use iFaith (v1.5.7) and download your shsh blobs from cydia's server and see if it says your blobs are valid or not

edit:
Download the 6.0.1/6.1/6.1.2 shsh blob for your device using iFaith. (you can only continue if ifaith deems them valid, or else your only option is 5.1.1 if you have blobs for that)

Open iFaith and click created sign ipsw with blob. Select the shsh blob you just download. It'll verify the blob, then click "download for me". After it is done, choose the ipsw if it asks you to and then click continue. It'll stitch the blob to the firmware. Once that's done, follow the instructions to put your device in pwned DFU mode

Open iTunes, shift + click restore and then choose that custom firmware

Once it's on 6.0.1/6.1/6.1.2, download evasi0n from evasi0n.com and untether jailbreak your device

Good luck!

Ok I do that, but I browse for an ipsw and it works but then it says I didn't run as admin. I did. So then I go to iTunes, and I try to restore to the built ipsw and nothing works. Is there a Mac alternative?

Use redsnow to restore your device with the baked firmware. I used redsnow on iOS5 to install firmwares with saved blobs. You can also use redsnow to stitch your complete and valid blobs to the IPSW file.

Edit: check iClarified for tutorials. Run redsnow as admin too. You should be able to use the custom firmware you made with iFaith assuming that isn't corrupted. If it fails, create a new firmware using redsnow.

Edit again: If redsnow doesn't work, try using SnowBreeze to restore your device. It's a windows only software but I've read people having success downgrading/restoring their A4 devices to 6.1.2 using SnowBreeze.

Good luck.
