I was hired to create a brand new website for my mother's antique shop. On their old site, each dealer in the store has their own page. They all know the password to edit their page with a WYSIWYG editor. I realized that with the new site, it would be better to set up a wiki and give each dealer their own individual password. However, I now am faced with the task of transferring every dealer's page over to the wiki. Some dealers have tons of images on their pages, some at extremely high resolution. I know that I could probably just re-upload each one manually, but that would take weeks. Can someone help me think of a way to do this faster?

Depending on how well the old site is coded up you may be able to write a script (PHP, Perl, something you're comfortable with etc.) that scraps out what you need and translates it to a wiki format. I haven't worked with wikis much, but sounds reasonable if the code is decent. If the code happens to be written in valid XHTML you could also use a XSLT to convert the pages, but it's rare to find valid XHTML. I've done similar things in the past.
