Hello someone in the know! lol

Just a quick question...

I'm a little confused as to why Push might break once someone jailbreaks or unlocks.

In my own scenario, can someone please advise me if I need to add the source iphoneil.net to cydia and install Push Fix if I only want to jailbreak with blackra1n, using 3.2.1.....I'm not going to unlock my phone.

I'm on Rogers in Canada, with a 32g 3GS

If push notification isn't broken, then don't fix it.

Are you not receiving push notifications?

Well I have my settings--mail/calenders--push settings turned to off.

But I have my notifications turned on...and I notice I never receive any badges or alerts from the apps that provide notifications.

Did you activate using iTunes, or did you hacktivate it with blackra1n? If you're on an official carrier, you should make sure your phone is activated through iTunes before you jailbreak with blackra1n; otherwise you will not be set up for push.
