Need some help and guidance connecting my MINI to my SANYO DP50749 plasma TV.

My tv has three hdmi inputs as well as a rgb/mini audio input. When I purchased the mini the tech advised me all I would need was a DVI to HDMI cable and a mini audio cable, which I purchased and connected. Unfortunately,
I either get video thru the HDMI input or audio thru the PC/RGB input. Is there a way to receive audio thru the hdmi input without using the mini audio cable?

I'm not the most tech savvy person as you probably realize and new to the MAC format, so need some advice before I spend more money on a DVI to RGB converter and RGB cable.

Thanks for your help and PLEASE be descriptive in your answer..

HOPEFULLY it's a 2009.. MB463LLA/A 2.0/1X1G/120/SD/AP/BT

Thanks again for your great help. Bought the adapter!

Purchased the Mini Displayport Male and USB Male Audio to HDMI Female Converting Adapter in the link above, installed it and and my tv flashes a black screen constantly. Wondering if anybody would have some advise on how to fix that problem.

Have you tried it with different ports? Or does it only have one HDMI port? Just try unplugging the cable from Mini and from TV and then replug them
