I'm studying in Visual Communication Design. It is capable of designing both in graphics and media communication.

And I want to buy iMac for study in this case.

It work for this?

Because I wondering about NVIDIA graphics 9400. shared memory from main RAM.

And I'd like to play 3D Game in Bootcamp. Such as Crysis. Can it play smooth?

Thank you for Comment and Suggestion.

PS. Sorry for my English. :p

Anybody help me pleas.
I'm Mac Newbie and I want to buy my First Mac.:(

Don't even dream about playing Crysis with 9400M. It may run it but only with lowest graphic option and lowest resolution.

Get 24" 2.93GHz with GT120, GT130 or ATI 4850

Here's my opinion since the update.

If you want the most computing power and willing to spend some money, then get either of the high end iMac or the second to highest end iMac.

If you don't want to spend a lot of money, but still want more bang for your buck, then take a look at the refurb store because a last gen 24" 2.8ghz w/ ati2600 pro for $1199 will kick the crap out of a new 24" 2.66ghz w/9400 for $1499.

Though if you want to play Crysis, your going to need something with some GPU power. I played it just fine (on medium settings) on my MBP w/8600GT. So running it at a lower resolution on the 2600 pro would be possible. Like stated above, running it on a 9400 would end up being jerky non-sense.
