Basically it starts out with this guy who gets wisked back in time and as he changes stuff from the past it influences the future. He is trying to find someone/something but I can't remember what.

It's a cartoon kind of setting, does anyone know what this game is.

I just remember I played it in 2003

Can Anyone give me any Ideas I did check Google. :)

I think you're looking for Journeyman Project 2: Buried in Time by Bungie.
In this game you're looking for a crooket TSA agent, whos altering history by changing the past.
Your mission is to correct those ripples in time.
I hope this helps.

Not to sound like nitpicking, but... If that is the correct game that he is looking for, it was done by Presto (spelling) Studios. Not by Bugie. Bugie was doing Marathon series back then.

Just a bit history, Halo was meant to be a Mac game. That is up to when MS bought them, and instead bring it to the x-box.

A rather vague description.
Could you help with the model of Mac you ran it on ?
2003 sort of helps, it could have been any game before then, but there are lots.
Was it CD or floppy, or DVD ? - related to the question about which Mac you played it on.
OSX or OS9 or under emulation ?
Set in the future, current times, or historic past, pre-historic past ?
Anything else, however tricial helps.

A ew guesses:
Flashback
Another World (aka Out of this World)

There were other JourneyMan Project games, but I reckon you'd search for them after the earlier hint.

Maybe you are right except I don't remember the Journeyman Project being cartoony. It was trying to be more photo-realistic along the lines of Myst.

Ouch

@ Hugh

Ouch ... you're right ... I'm from the pre NAND flash memory generation ...
... also liable to magnetic fading ...

Hey everyone thanks for the help. Went on Youtube to see The Journeyman Project 2: Buried in Time and this wasn't it. I think I ran it on a Power Mac and it was a CD game. Basically it was kind of like Shadow of the Templar but you were going back in time and altering the present,

Thanks for anymore help

I may be totally off base here but perhaps your game is Day of The Tentacle. Its a cartoony adventure game (point click) where what you do in the past does affect the future. It was released on CD for the mac. I got mine in one of those multi-game bundle packs back in the day.

If this is not what you were looking for, it will probably take a little bit more information. I should be able to help as I have played games solely on my mac while growing up. So I should have played your game at one point in my life.

Long live the Journeyman Project Series. Loved all three games and have fond memories of them all.
