I have two thunderbolt spots in the back of my machine and need to purchase (2) cost friendly screens that will installing easily without a bunch of expensive cables.

Can anyone make some recommendations....I'm not computer smart, and after 30 mins of google searching I gave up. Would prefer them to be 27" in size to match my 27" iMac if possible (silver trim monitors would be a plus but not a deal breaker).

If you are looking for something relatively cheap that matches ok...

You will also need a mini-DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable for each.

Will this plug into the thunderbolt ports in the back of my iMac though?
Yes the mini-displayport will plug into the thunderbolt port. Here is the cable you would need.

The small end is compatible with the thunderbolt ports, the large end connects to the display ports on the display. You can get cables to connect to any type of monitor, you just need mini-displayport cables to plug into the Thunderbolt ports.

Here is the official Apple support documents on the matter.

Man you're a wealth of knowledge to someone like me. Do you have any experience with the monitors you recommended, Amazon reviews, which were minimal, were iffy.
