I'm looking for a to-do list that will allow me to email the day's tasks in a PDF, to be printed on a computer. Does any such app exist? I've not been able to find one on the App Store, though I have found plenty of to-do list apps.

Hmm, I know there are To Do lists that sync with online, which may give you the ability to print the website. Creating a to do list designed for printing out sounds more like a desktop application that for the iPhone.
One app that I know is designed for sharing simple task lists is Zenbe Lists: http://appshopper.com/productivity/zenbe-lists
You can create the list on the iPhone or through a web browser with your free account, and sync them. But you can also share the list with anyone, even if they don't have an account. A link will be sent through e-mail that takes them directly to the list, no log-in. What ever they do will later sync back up with the list on your main account, then to the iPhone. Also ways to embed as a widget on webpages, blogs, profiles.
But all that sharing may be pointless if you just want a hard copy, unless you print the website.

You can't create a PDF on the iPhone. But there are work around. Air share pro and print n share will both view and print. Quick office and Docs to go will both create word or text docs. Check them all out and see which combinations will work best for you.
Todo will let you e-mail tasks and checklists. Just covert the e-mail you receive into a .pdf or Word file.
