Hey all, my company needs to redesign its web site - nothing fancy, just coded a bit better than the weird code there now. We have 10-15 different web pages in total so it's not a massive job.

The design part we can do much of in-house, since we have two fantastic full time Graphic Artists. What we don't have is anyone who can do the other bits like:

1. common header/footer for each page
2. web forms that email comments/data to a specific employee
3. possibly different color schemes (skins) for different times of year (CSS)
4. We have a different speaker each week that we would like to have auto-populate on the main page from a separate file of all the speaker names/bios.
5. Along the lines of #4, we need help with database-driven web technologies. We have submissions to a weekly print publication (2 pages) that needs to also go on the site. Right now we are copying and pasting information over and over and over again.

Thoughts? Recommendations? Where might I find a network of web design companies, preferably in Boston?

Just a suggestion, it may be easier and possible cheaper to find a freelancer, they'll still get the work done. :)

That would work too -- I'm just not sure of how to go about finding such a person. I'd even take recommendations from the experts here!

If you would like to email me, I'll forward it to the company I work for, I'll also forward the URL - you'll be very pleased :)

OTher than that, here maybe.

I guess it really doesn't matter about the locale, I assumed that a face-to-face meeting would be helpful. Good point! But (for EvanLugh and others) I need to keep it in America for payment purposes. It's not my choice, just a billing policy for the types of grants that we have.
