My computer was iMac was stolen. I have replacement. I logged into iTunes on the computer with my iTunes/apple ID that I had with the stolen computer (changing the password of course).
When I plug my iPhone in it doesnt try and auto-sync, and I have to open iTunes manually
The phone appears as the correct iPhone in the device column on the left, and when I double-click on it, opens the normal box with a correct summary about the phone but doesnt want to sync the data off the phone back on to the iMac (I get told I will lose all the data from the phone).
How can I get the new copy of iTunes to want to sync with the phone in a normal fashion?
Do I need to restore the phone to do this? (and just accept that my data will be lost? I'm reluctant to try to restore it for fear it may brick my phone.)
