so even though the prospect of flattening 100 books through Fujitsu's slow software would fill me with dread, there's something off about CZUR.

They are books from the 30s to 50s and have to be kept intact. Ended up finding out the price is $450 euros plus $600 euros to ship it here... so I will try the Plustek 4800.
With the CZUR scanners, can they be connected by USB cable? I need a new scanner to scan 30+ years of prints so I can restore them and flatbed is just too slow.
Read the review from 2017 that talked about the Mac software for CZUR not having all the features of the Windows version. Has this changed?

He's not in the US, so it depends on the regulations where he's at. Looks like he's somewhere out of Saskatchewan
