Need to share iTunes with Sonos

What equipment do you have? Can other devices "see" your iTunes library?

Look under File->Home Sharing and make sure you've enabled it.

If you need more help then write up a DETAILED list of what you've done and what equipment you have and how it is connected

Are you just trying to play directly to the Sonos from iTunes? I don’t think the system works like that. My understanding is that you need the Sonos Software to interface with your iTunes Library and play to the speakers from that.

Do you have the Sonos Desktop software? My understanding is that it’s pretty much “it just works”. You might try their support site. Specifically here.

I use the Sonos system for internet radio all the time. Works great.


BTW: I just got my iTunes to show up. I used the computer Sonos application rather than the app on the iPad to set up my music library. Thanks to all.
