Hi all. My wife upgraded her iphone to a 3gs. She has syncd and has her info, contacts etc on it. Now we want to swap phones. She gives me her new 3gs and I give her my year old 3g version.

We're on family plan at ATT so I guess we can swap sim cards. Then how do we get our contacts, apps etc. on to the respective phones without having all of her info on mine and visa versa.

Any step by step info greatly appreciated.

thanks have a good day.

Thanks I'll check it out. Any suggestions on the apps? Do we just sync the ones we have already on our phones during the individual sync process? We don't want to duplicate apps and also some were free others $$.
thanks for the help.

Backup both phones. This will create two backups on your computer, say, MyPhone, and WifesPhone. Then take the phone you are going to use, and restore from backup. When asked which backup you want to use, pick "MyPhone." Do the same with the other phone, but select "WifesPhone." Finally, resync both phones. There, all the info/media/apps on the phones should now be exchanged.
