I'm looking for a wireless remote for a Nikon D700. I guess it would compatible with the D200, D300, D2-, D3.

I already spend the money on a tripod and head, so now I'm looking for the remote. I can find the wired version, but the point of the wireless is so I can take pictures with me in them!

Now I have found generic ones on ebay, but I don't trust their quality.

Anyone have recommendations? Of course if the OEM ones have extravagant prices, then I'll get the generic ones (but as long as they will work).

There's one that runs off of IR...forgetting model #, but it sucks b/c you must have a clear line of sight.

Consider using a pocketwizard. They're expensive, but highly reliable. And they work with lights too.

I see. I saw that at B&H today. Since I wasn't going to use it much I couldn't justify the price.

Also I wouldn't mind line of sight.

Thanks.
