I just acquired a purple iMac G3. It's a PowerPC G3 processor, 333mhz. The current OS is 9.2. I want to do SOMETHING with this machine, but haven't got a clue where to start. I believe it's a 10gig hard drive, so maybe I turn it into a juke box of sorts? Is there anyway I could get ATLEAST panther going on this baby? If nothing else, how do I burn factory settings disks? Any help/suggestions would be great!

Your computer will take upto 512 mb of ram and a 120 gb hd.

the 350mhz model takes 1 gb of ram.

Yes, it will run panther. I have one and will put on panther in a week.

I think you will have to partition the drive such that the first partition is 8gb or less and that you install on that one. Unless something's changed with newer versions of os X. Some kind of limitation with the oldworld ROM. Low end mac would probably tell you.
