Definitely DO NOT buy this monitor, no matter how cheap. This monitor suffers from severe banding problems, and also leaves a strange greenish trail behind dark objects on light backgrounds. How do I know? I have sent back TWO of these horrible things in the last week, only to receive a THIRD monitor today with the same problems! I will be returning it ASAP and demanding a refund. Tested all three monitors (using DVI) on two Macs, and one PC. All monitors were revision A02, mfg dates were: July 06 / may 06 / may 06. Yes, they sent me two monitors older than the original monitor I received.

Also, the third monitor I received was poorly packaged. The first two monitors were wrapped in a thick foam bag, with a foam sheet taped across the front of the screen. This third monitor came in a very thin clear plastic bag, with no foam sheet. Looks like they sent me a monitor that had already been sent back by someone else!

Compared to my 20' ACD, this monitor is a complete joke. I honestly can't believe so many of you consider this monitor acceptable. And this is Dells third revision of the 2407wfp!! (A00, A01, A02) Completely unacceptable.

Worth it?....never.
