Could some one help me how to check on 3gs iphone what software version or bootloader by SN,ICCID or IMEI,I want to buy but the seller don't want to open the package to check.

Well since 3.1 was introduced on week 37, I guess that if you find an iPhone with a serial number that indicates that iPhone was manufactured week 36 or earlier, you will be fine. Look for the 4th and 5th numbers on the serial number, if they are 36 or lower then the iPhone must have 3.01 or 3.0 loaded, 37 or more it will come with 3.1 or 3.1.2.

Thanks for the great information.

I can confirm this as well. The 3GS that I purchased earlier this month was manufactured in Week 36 and it came with 3.0.1 installed.
