Considering the negative vibes from professionals & others lately, what the executive team decided for the Macs ahead :
- let's go back to our origins and be outstanding - Apple Computer Inc.

- in 2018, this is good enough - Compaq

Those drama queens on social media, and iFixit-sponsored YouTubers?

Irrelevant, what matters is the costumers actually buying the product.

Apple is past their vanity product phase, anything that Apple does or does not gets criticized, Apple should focus on their costumers and not on YouTubers.

Microsoft had a lot of good press and lots of people on social and Reddit hailing the product... the problem is that they weren't putting their money up front and didn't sell anything and the company is in big trouble as they have a completely outdated product line (much more than Apple's current lineup) they can't sell.

To me, they have done what I wanted so far. I wanted a 5K iMac, and last year they delivered everything I wanted.
