I am very sorry if this comes off as rude... But have you searched the forums before you posted? Have you searched Google?

Here's a post I found rather quickly by searching:

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/373146/

Apologies again if that came off as rude.

yeah i did search google i went ont he emulator webstie and i saw a bunch of info but nothing that really explained it well enough for me to want to try it, but ill look at these sources and see if i can do it

Follow his instructions! His a kid with lots of knowledge. Make sure that you have downloaded the SSH application under system on your installer. Otherwise WinSCP won't connect. It's very simple.

that kid does it on pc and i have a mac...

and the other one on hacked the iphone has that program where he writes in the folders but i dont have that, these are the things no tutorial has...

what i need to install the roms./...

i dont know

these posts are what is wrong with forums...

C'mon, we have SSH, AFP(d, bonjour), and I don't even know how many other hard-wired methods that are floating around these day's that give you access to the root filesystem.

I am willing to bet that 98% of them are explained on this site alone....

But because noob's outnumber everyone here I guess I'll explain it.

The easiest way is:

1. Install SSH on the device.

2. Use SFTP (with the program of your choice, I use cyberduck) to create a connection to your device and loging with

Username: root
Password: (firmware dependent): 1.0.2 : dottie ; 1.1.1-1.1.2 : alpine

3. Open the /Media folder and create a new folder called /ROMs. Inside that folder create another new folder named /NES. Place the .rom files in the /NES folder.

4. Start playing.

you can install OpenSSH through installer.app.

I see you are running a mac, so no, you dont have to be on a wifi network, you can create an ad-hoc network from the dropdown menu in the status bar on the computer.

you dont have to check the box to install it, like I said earlier, OpenSSH is avail through installer.app.

And SSH must be installed to connect to the phone. I'm not sure, but I'm assuming AFP (what I use) could also be used over the ad-hoc network, and is also avail in the installer.app

I just want to thank everyone for this help and apologize if it took me a while to get it. I realized that my iPhone was on the wrong wifi signal ,not mine, but I got it and NES is ****ing sick!

This is just a general and I promise my final question,

What are your favorite Roms!?

They are so many old few I'm having trouble rembrring what ones are good
