NES Sound

Hey i just installed the NES app on my iphone and noticed the sound works now? Is that standard because i know before you had to do a whole bunch of stuff like turn off external sound or something, ive been out of the modding scene for a lil bit but now sound on NES works without messing anything up?

I think they got it working a few builds ago so no additional hacking required.
