iPhone 32GB 3Gs 3.0.1 Jailbroken with RedSnow
Mac OS X 10.5.8

Ok, I'm interested in making custom themes for my iphone 3gs. It's been jailbroken and I've been able to add themes that other people have made with no issue in Winterboard on my iPhone itself. Everywhere I look it says it's as simple as adding your new theme (drag n drop) to the themes folder.

I've installed Netatalk on my phone and can even get my iPhone to connect via finder on my Mac. But when I attempt to open my themes folder it does nothing. And by nothing I mean Deletes itself for a second and then returns if I re-open the themes folder. I cannot even view it as an empty folder. I DO have themes on my iPhone so I want to know why I cannot see any. Here's where I'm going:

Am I just being thick? Everywhere I read says it should be super easy from this point on. Have I not connected correctly? Connecting as root and mobile do the same thing. Or am I simply not suppose to see my themes that I've currently download?

I can find this one theme under a summerboard folder here:

But when I try to edit it or add anything to this folder my mac gives me this message:

This is everything I've tried, please let me know if I'm just doing something wrong or missed some step, because as far as I can tell I've done it all right, my iphone has connected, and according to all the other info sites it SHOULD be working easily by now, thanks in advance for any help you may give.
