Has anyone tried this?
I have a Sonnet Tempo PCIe card with Intel 710 (I think) series SSD.
10.5.8 can use that disk, but AFAIK MacOS cannot boot from it.
I have no idea whether a BSD can, but it would be nice if it does.
(I will still have a bootable kernel on HFS+ volume, of course.)
Ideally, I would want to use ZFS on that volume, because why not
