I've noticed that Best Buy is selling iTunes gift cards at 80% their normal price, and with the new TV, Netflix billing can optionally be done through iTunes.

My question is: Will Apple bill my credit card directly, or will they tap into my account credits? This'll currently mean the difference to me of paying ~$76.8 instead of ~$96 per year.

Just tried it out and it is using store credit for me - good deal!

I'm in Canada and I have a U.S itunes account using my U.S gift cards. I download video, apps and music from it with no problem. Now would Netflix U.S work on my apple tv if I use the itunes U.S billing method in Canada with a Canadian ip address?
Thanks.

I'm wondering the same thing! It would be great for us in Canada of it were true, and much more convenient.

You will have to connect your apple tv via vpn if you want to use netflix us account in Canada. There's no other way...
