i just saw a netflix commercial where a guy walks up and uses a macbook to access netflix. i don't think he used the watch it now feature. i just find it funny he used a macbook, meanwhile you can't use their watch it now feature on os x.

It's probably from Windows via Bootcamp, who knows...
It's really one of those cases where Apple's beautiful products are "just right" for the ad.
Which is why there are three white iMacs in the Diet Coke advert, at the end.
It's because they look good (The white possibly makes the product being advertised seem innocent).
I've noticed that as well, Apple computers being used in commercials. But, at the same time remember that companies bid for product placement. It's not that they are being used, but they got paid for being used
