I normally watch Netflix at home via Apple TV but plan on going on vacation where place I am staying has Free WiFi but no TV. How do I setup my Macbook Pro before going to watch Netflix on the go. My plan is the basic plan for 1 device, do I need to change this device to the MacBook Pro or does it allow you to only watch Netlfix on one/any single device at a time. Thanks.

You’ll navigate to Netflix.com and log into your account. You’ll have to download a plugin to watch videos through the browser. Your account type just lets you have one concurrent stream so it just stops any stream after the first one has started.

It's one device at a time. Make sure you update your Mac to make sure that Safari on Netflix supports HTML5 - I can't remember if El Capitan supports that particular feature, but both Sierra and High Sierra do. You might also consider bringing an Ethernet cable to hardwire into their internet and get much faster speeds.

The Netflix document I linked to says Safari is supported back as far as Yosemite, so El Capital is good.
