Hey guys, my ATV1 just appeared on at door this afternoon. I'm very excited. I managed to get the 160GB model, with the box, manuals, etc for $130 and the machine is in good condition. :)

While I know I can install XBMC for streaming from my LAN shares, and Firefox for light web browsing, but I cannot find a definitive answer on whether or not I can get Netflix going on this thing. I've seen online people saying that they've done it, but I haven't seen it in action or how they've 'done' it.

Since I've traded my ATV2 for cash to buy an ATV1 in favor of the hackability/upgradability, the only capability I may have lost is Netflix, unless someone can lead me to a guide on getting it set up.

If it's impossible to get Netflix going on the ATV1 it's okay, I have my Mac mini plugged into the TV and can view it from there. I'd just prefer to have all my streaming/playback on one electronic device so I don't have to switch back and forth on TV inputs. :D

No, it's not powerful enough to run Silverlight that Netflix requires for its streaming content
