Netflix on Safari on a 2011 iMac

Hello!

Is anyone successfully watching Netflix through Safari on a 2011 iMac?

Netflix lists 'select 2011 machines' as compatible being able to watch through HTML5, is there really something missing from the 27" 2011 iMac that means it can't work? It works fine through Brave, but ideally I'd like to be able to do everything in one browser!

I've already tried changing the User Agent but to no avail.

Running Safari 14 on Mojave 10.14.6

On my Macs running Mac OS 10.13 High Sierra I've been using 3rd party browsers to watch Netflix since I started using Netflix.

Running Mojave 10.14.6 is not officially supported on 2011 iMacs and presumably they wouldn't test Netflix using such a configuration. Safari 14 requires Mojave (or later).
