Netflix WS Movies

Since the update has anyone notice how some movies are not playing WS properly? It's either converting to 4:3 squished or WS but black borders top, bottom, left and right. What a mess.

I have noticed this in the past with movies from Netflix. I haven't noticed it specifically since the recent update.

I usually can get the episode/movie to look moderately decent by using the zoom options on the TV.

Similar Netflix problems also happen on our xbox. The xbox has zoom features built into it, however, so it's easier to fix.

Remember that Netflix makes it really easy to report any problems with particular videos. If enough people complain, they'll probably fix it, like they seem to have done with the buffering problem on the aTV.

It happened to us only once, about 2 weeks ago with "Punch Drunk Love" and not since the update.

I haven't updated, but it happen to me last night while watching an episode of Heroes.

My kids were watching Santa Clause 2 this morning (seems like the wrong season, but oh well) and it looked squished like it should have been 16:9 and was accidentally set to 4:3 at some point.

Not like my kids cared, or noticed...
