Netgear AC1750 - how to set it up?

I bought a used and tested Netgear AC1750 modem-router for almost nothing in a non profit's thrift store.
The modem in the house I moved into is a creaky slow as molasses Motorola modem.

There's no instructions for the Netgear AC1750 and I wonder how I set this thing up.
Is the passcode on this power adapter? I don't see anything anywhere else and I don't have the instruction manual that came with the modem-router.
