netshare and transmit??

anybody that has purchased netshare check to see if it allows ftp connections?? if it does i would be very happy to get rid of my verizon wireless card. I need it for transmitting images over transmit. If anybody has both can you please let me know if it works? i dont have any other use for it so i dont want to pay the 9.99 to find out it doesnt work. Thanks!!!!!!

In theory you should be able to use Transmit as long as you configure it to run through the SOCKS proxy server that Netshare runs.

just took a peak at the transmit prefs and saw the option for SOCKS. Anybody try yet? would be cool to see a screen of what your socks settings in transmit looked like.
