I'm toying with the idea of using a network login on my work Mac. It would authenticate to the corporate server via Active Directory. Setup and everything went well and seems straightforward - but when I launch an app, it asks for a serial number / license even through they have all been setup using a local user account.
I know if I had multiple local users, the software installs would be recognized as licensed for all users. Why does the same not hold true for network users? What am I missing?
