Hi all,

I just recently upgraded from older AP Extreme (flat one) to the recently announced mini tower looking AP Extreme.

I have two HDD (Seagate and WD) connected to the AP Extreme via powered USB hub. With the old AP Extreme, I was able to find the HDD from the finder (shows up on the left of the window) and was also able to assign one of the HDD to Time Machine for back up.

Now that I've upgraded to the new AP Extreme, the HDDs no longer appear. How can I find them?

I'm on Mountain Lion MBP (Late 2010). I'm using a HooToo 4 port USB 3.0 Hub (powered).

Any help would be appreciated!

Z.

BTW, the USB hub is backward compatible with 2.0. I say this because the new AP Extreme is 2.0 I believe. Also, the HDD are 2.0 and 3.0 USB.

To Moderator: Appears I posted third on the wrong place. Can you please move this post? Thank you.

I did share the HDD. But that wasn't the problem.

I solved my issue. It's one of those "Palm on the face" moment. I just did a power cycle on my router/modem and it showed up. Geez....simple thing.
