Well. I cannot explain how does this happen...

My network icon does not appear anymore at the finder menu (up to my computer hd icon) and even if i try to connect via GO / network, the network does not find any more my MSHome.

I can still navigate in the internet, but cannot share and visualize othera computers at my mshome

Could anyone help me?

Thank you
Priscila

I find that usually I can connect through Go>Network but ocassionally for no apparent reason I cannot. Sometimes I can't even bring up a dialog box. Sometime restarting fixes it. Sometimes it doesn't.

Maybe you can try to connect using Go>Connect To Server you'll need the afp address to do this. To find the afp address go to the Sharing pane in System preferences under the row of checkboxes there will be a sentence telling you the computer's address it will be something like afp://10.0.0.15 you'll need to go to the computer you are trying to connect to, to get this number.

Then go back to your computer press Cmd K to bring up the connect to server dialog box and enter the afp address.

That may or may not work.

Unless of course it got turned off in preference as wrldwzrd89 said.
