network location

Can anyone please tell me here I can go to change the network group such s mshome, workgroup ect. Lately I Cannot find anyone in a network or if I do it says alias not found or something that like. I recently upgrade to a macbook pro and my computer is now located at \\your-111f2d4efe\Mike....how doi change this TIA

I think it's in Directory Access in Applications/Utilities.
