Network Preferences Help

Im trying to get into my Network preferences, but it is not letting me. All that I am getting is the main page for system preferences and it says loading network. There might already be a thread for this, but I couldn't find it.

What version of Mac OS X are you running? Did you install any "enhancements" or "haxies"? Also, check your logs - to do that, open Console (in Applications -> Utilities).

• Im currently running Snow Leopard
• I am pretty sure I didn't install any enhancements or haxies, the last thing i did was install office 11
• And what am i supposed to look for in console?

Look for messages involving System Preferences and the Network preference pane. There's a search box you can use to narrow your results to just what you're interested in.

I searched network, preferences, internet and a whole bunch of other things. Im just looking to fix this problem.
