Networking Problems OS 8.6

I have a Mac B&W Tower, I can not get it to the internet or to connect to a computer, however the computer on the same Ethernet hub is working just fine, minus it has Kazza and spyware PC junk. But, I check the TCP/IP and nothing was wrong, and AppleTalk is Active, any help? Please help.
