I recently updated my firmware on my Areca RAID card, and the icon for the RAID drive changed to something I've never seen before.

It used to be just the yellow/orange drive, either plain or with a sort of boxy power-on symbol on it. Anyone ever see this icon before?

Also, does anyone know where all these icons are stored? I might want to change it.

Select the drive icon, then Finder > File > Get Info (cmd-I). Select the icon, then paste new one over it (you can drag an image over it also).

That's the SAS drive icon. It is stored in /System/Library/Extensions/IOSCSIArchitectureModelFamily.kext/Contents/Resources.

Ah, thank you! That's it. It used to display the SCSIParallelHD icon, and now it's changed to this for some reason. Strange, but nice to know where the icons are!

I changed it to this nice black drive icon. :)

Mind if I use that image for my systems hard drives? it looks more real than Apple's.

Thanks,
