Hello,
I am a very new user to apple -- I just bought my first macbook about one month ago. Recently I just came across an annoying problem: I notice that my hard disk would not stop. It is always spinning, no matter if I am doing something or am leaving the computer completely idle. My right hand clearly feels the vibration of the hard disk when typing, and by sitting still I can hear the hard disk working with the sound like the fan -- though the fan is not activated for sure. Could anyone tell me if he also meets with this kind of problem ever? Is it a problem of the harddisk, or of the logic board? (cannot be of any software, because I just clean installed the system and no software is running ) I am asking about the logic board because at the same time I did a Hardware test using the apple cd1, obtained an error report as 4SNS/1/40000000:TBOT. Could anyone help? Thanks a lot in advance!
