Hey all,
I really want to get this game working in XP through Bootcamp, but I think there is an issue between this game and the Intel GMA. The game installs everything fine, but once I tried to play it, it would go through the opening movies and freeze before the menu came up. Seems like an issue with the graphics chip. I upgraded to the newest drivers and updated the game, but I can't find anyway to play this. The GMA should easily be up to the graphical requirements of the game. Searching the net I found a few people have had issues with the X3100 but no solution.

Has anyone been able to play this on a Macbook?

Hi, you might find more help on this issue at the forums at nwn.bioware.com. There's a Mac section there. I've got it to work with XP on a Macbook Pro, but I'm not sure about your situation. :(

One other thought that just occurred to me: does your Macbook have 2 CPUs? If so, then you may need to change your setting for "CPU affinity" in a .config or .ini file. Check out this thread: http://nwn.bioware.com/forums/myviewtopic.html?topic=623955&forum=71

Since the NWN game files are all cross-platform, you could also try copying them over to your MacOS partition and play from there (see afore-mentioned thread for details). Several people have done this with great success. I'm toying with it right now, but have had an issue with crashing once I actually start playing the game. I think this is also a dual-CPU issue, though.
