Benchmarks higher than the 13" MacBook Pro

Once iOS matures a little more and adds things like external monitor support, Xcode, etc., this thing can easily be your only computer in a few years time. Certainly does not lack the power.

One hell of a future proof device. With this kind of performance, iOS needs to really make full use and take advantage of the A10X's processing power.

Nuuugh... nearly double the memory copy speed and bandwidth over the 9.7 iPad Pro too. Apple's memory speeds in their iOS devices have always been stupid quick (still double that of the nearest competitor in the iPhone 7), but this is another crazy jump in hardware performance.

Couple that with iOS optimisation, that killer CPU... Jobs talked about the original iPhone being 5 years ahead of the competition, but this iPad is such a killer with hardware performance, I can't see Qualcomm even matching it in the next 3 years. The benchmarks are only likely to get better too when iOS 11 is finally released with a more stable build.
