Currently have a mid 2009 MBP baseline model (2.26 ghz, 2 gb ram). Just wondering - if I get a 1.86 ghz MBA with 4 ghz ram, would the MBA perform noticeably better across the board and be a smoother experience? Confused about the differences in the C2D processors and if the MBA processor is "better"

MBA processor is worse, but it will feel faster for day to day stuff due to the SSD.

I tried the new MBA at the Apple store today and worked on par or better than the 13 MBP...that SSD was fast...

But the reason I would take the newer MBA is because of the display...great crisp display.
