I'd like to replicate this MBP 15 to the new 16 which is arriving.

Because I KNOW all my software and "old" software no longer "supported" works on Mojave 10.14.6 - I would like to operate this exact set up on my new MBP. So this means things like an old Adobe Audition, Word, Excel etc.

Is there a link you can recall that shows me the steps to take to do this once the new one arrives please???

The new 16" MBP can not run Mojave and 32 bit apps. It will arrive with Catalina installed and that is the lowest macOS that can be used.

You can migrate software that is 64 bit to the new 16" MBP. My preferred method is to use Setup Assistant the first time I turn the new Mac on by connecting a clone external drive or a Time Machine backup of the old Mac. The minimum macOS for migrating data from old to new MBP running Catalina is OS X Mavericks.

IF you still have older software that is 32-bit, and you either can't upgrade it or don't want to, you had best "stay where you are".

That software IS NOT GOING TO RUN on a new MacBook, at least not while booted into Catalina.

It -might- be possible to run old 32-bit software using a virtual machine created with Parallels or VMWare Fusion. But whether that will work for you... you won't know unless you try it.

The other option (of course) is to upgrade all your current software to 64-bit versions that will run using Catalina.
