Subject: New 18-core iMacPro ordered and shipped in 12 days

I ordered an iMacPro for a Client on April 18 (18-core, 2TB SSD, 64GB RAM, Vega 64) and it was delivered to Client's local Apple Store on April 26. That is a total of 12 days. :apple::) The initial estimate Apple gave was it would deliver by May 7th.

Now my task is to integrate this new iMacPro into Client's office with two other Macs; MP5,1 and a MP6,1 tying all three together with a 10G network and pulling their shared storage from a new Promise Pegasus3 R8 attached to the iMacPro.

Wish me luck in getting all this up and running smoothly over a 2-day period. Fun times ahead.... ;)

I ordered a 10 core, 2TB SSD, Vega 64 late on the 17th that would have been delivered here in Boston yesterday, except it was held up in China customs for 20 hours or so, which made it miss the last plane of the next day which caused it to miss another connection. Then, with few UPS flights over the weekend, it just got into a bad shipping situation.. So it may be here May 1 as Apple initially predicted :)
