One of my RAM slots is wonky.
As a result, sometimes the Mac will boot. Sometimes it will do the 3 beep thing.
If I leave that slot or that row of RAM empty, it works like a champ. Otherwise, it's a tossup between Jekyll and Hyde.

Anyone else having this issue with their new machines?

At least the old 2009 will get some (hopefully brief) use.

Yeah I'd get that fixed

Another guy has a thread with weird Artifacting. Most likely his GPU, but could be a RAM slot. He has the issue where it doesn't click or seat properly for the one slot.

My bad slot seats but doesn't have that crisp click.
